- I'm new to programming in C++. Actually I don't even know C. I would
- like to learn how to program C++ and was wondering what some people think
- are good books for the beginner. I have a fairly fast learning curve but
- I need somehwere to start.
-
- I have Microsoft Visual C++ (Standard Ed) Ver 1.0. Is this a good tool to
- start programming C++. I want to write Windows applications so I assume
- so. Are there any freeware or shareware editors/compilers for C++ to
- develop DOS applications.
-
- I sure would appreciate any advice on this subject.
-
- Thanks,
- Matt Rogie
